காஞ்சிபுரம் ரயில் நிலையங்களில் பயணியர் ஆலோசனைக்குழு உறுப்பினர் ஆய்வு

காஞ்சிபுரத்தில் அமைந்துள்ள புதிய மற்றும் பழைய ரயில் நிலையங்களை தெற்கு ரயில்வே கோட்ட பயணியர் ஆலோசனைக்குழு உறுப்பினர் அரக்கோணம் கிருஷ்ணமூர்த்தி ஞாயிற்றுக்கிழமை ஆய்வு செய்தார்.

தெற்கு ரயில்வே கோட்ட ஆலோசனைக்குழு உறுப்பினராக தேர்வு செய்யப்பட்டவர் அரக்கோணத்தை சேர்ந்த கிருஷ்ணமூர்த்தி.இவர் காஞ்சிபுரத்தில் உள்ள புதிய மற்றும் பழைய ரயில்நிலையங்களை ஆய்வு செய்தார்.

அப்போது காஞ்சிபுரம் ரயில் பயணியர் நலச் சங்க பொதுச் செயலாளர் கார்த்திக் கொரோனா நோய்த் தொற்றுக் காலத்திற்கு முன்பு காஞ்சிபுரத்திலிருந்து சென்னைக்கு மதிய வேளையில் இயக்கப்பட்ட இரு ரயில்களையும் மீண்டும் இயக்க அனுமதி பெற்றுத் தர வேண்டும்.

ரயில் நிலையத்தில் தேநீர்க்கடை,பயணியர்களுக்கான கழிப்பறை வசதி ஆகியன அமைத்து தர வேண்டும்,ரயிலில் பயணியர் ஏறும் போது நடைபாதையில் விழுந்து விடுவது போன்று ஆபத்தாக நடைபாதை அமைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.அதனை சீரமைத்து தர வேண்டும் என்ற கோரிக்கைகளை தெரிவித்தனர்.

இது குறித்து உயர் அதிகாரிகளிடம் பேசி தகுந்த நடவடிக்கை எடுப்பதாக கிருஷ்ணமூர்த்தி உறுதியளித்தார். 

ஆய்வின் போது தமிழக கூட்டுறவுத்துறையின் நலச்சங்க அமைப்பு இணைச் செயலாளர் சுபாஷ், ரயில் நிலைய சார்பு ஆய்வாளர் ராஜரெத்தினம், கலைவாணன், ராஜீவ் பிரகாஷ் உள்ளிட்டோரும் உடன் இருந்தனர்.

Passenger Advisory Committee Member Inspects Kanchipuram Railway Stations

Kanchipuram, Aug 31:

Arakkonam-based Krishnamoorthy, a member of the Southern Railway Passenger Advisory Committee, inspected both the new and old railway stations in Kanchipuram on Sunday.

During the inspection, Kanchipuram Railway Passengers Welfare Association General Secretary Karthik raised several demands. These included the resumption of two afternoon train services from Kanchipuram to Chennai that were suspended before the COVID-19 pandemic, setting up tea stalls and toilet facilities at the stations, and repairing the unsafe platforms that pose risks to passengers while boarding trains.

Krishnamoorthy assured that he would take up these issues with higher railway authorities for necessary action.

The inspection was accompanied by Subash (Joint Secretary, Tamil Nadu Cooperative Department Welfare Association), Station Inspector Rajarethinam, Kalaivanan, Rajeev Prakash, and other officials.
